Yes. You may choose to sell privately or with a real estate agent on MLS.

There are no real restrictions on selling your home.  We have the option to purchase your home from you based on the same terms and conditions (including price) as an accepted Agreement of Purchase and Sale with a buyer. For example, if you agree to sell your home to someone else for $400,000, we have the option to pay you the same price and buy your home. The only other condition is that we approve any perspective purchaser or tenant to ensure they are financially capable of living up to the terms of the lease.

We bring in professional landscape maintenance companies to do this work. We plow the snow, apply salt/sand, and repair the asphalt as required.

The owners of Richmond Park have years of experience in developing and running land lease communities. We have a professional Property Manager who has the direct responsibility of operating the Park. We have a comprehensive set of rules and regulations that set out the expectations that we will all hold ourselves to, us included. 

Yes and we have general construction criteria that apply. You will receive the Rules and Regulations of the Park that spell out how you would proceed if you wanted to add onto your home. As well, in most cases the Ontario Building Code applies as does the zoning requirements of the Town of Napanee. We have a form which you would fill out in order to receive your approval.

Yes, there will be. As part of our plans, we have included a recreation centre for the exclusive use by the residents. As a tax paying resident of Napanee, you are also entitled to use any of the town’s amenities.
